Telephone cords US to UK
« on: April 19, 2006, 07:01:58 PM »
I am going to surprise my husband by shipping the PC over now, instead of waiting until I move.  I want him to have internet access at his house (actually it is very selfish of me, I just want to talk to him more  ;D ).  I'm sending the computer, keyboard and mouse, and buying a little plug adaptor for the power cord.  I'm going to buy a refurbished CRT monitor on ebay.

What I can't remember is whether phone points are the same in the US and UK.  Will I need to send a phone cord with the PC and buy a phone cord adaptor?  Broadband uses phone cords, right?  (I use dial up or ether net, so I'm not sure).

Thanks.

Nevermind - I just checked out Paul's thread (stickied at the top of this board  [smiley=doh.gif] ).  All of the answers I needed were right there.
