I-130 Petition Acknowledgement Card
« on: May 30, 2006, 10:50:16 PM »
We received a card that said that our I-130 had been received and that processing will take about 12 weeks.

I am wondering if anyone who had been rejected (i.e. had to file outside of London and had originally tried to file in London) had ever received a card like that and then subsequently received a rejection letter.

They said not to contact them so I thought I'd check in here to see your experiences.

I'm honestly not sure - though I suspect they send this card out to everyone as ours seemed like a partty basic form letter just to let us know stuff had arrived.
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!

I received a letter saying that we could not DCF and that our petition had been sent on to the Vermont Service Center...so it sounds to me like it is a go! One way to know for sure is if you used a credit card to pay for the fee...just check to see if it has been charged to your account or not. Good luck and let us know what you find out!

Have you found out for sure if you're able to DCF? Good luck!

We haven't heard anything else yet, so I'm thinking we are!  I'm hoping the next time we hear is when we get our next set of instructions!

I'll let you know when I hear next!
