ILR questions:
« on: April 21, 2006, 11:39:32 AM »
just a few questions:

section 3.2- we have a son together, but he has dual citizenship, do i still need to fill out his details with picture?

section 4.4- public funds: we receive the child benefit which is paid into a joint bank account. so do i tick that it is paid to me or my husband? (as we both have access to it.)

section 6.1- criminal conviction in UK or other country, including traffic offenses, i cannot remember the exact dates of my last accident (in US) and speeding ticket (also in the US), will approx. dates be okay? (month/year)

thanks in advance!

Hi

3.2 - tick the box 'yes' but don't put his details, as he is not applying for leave.

4.4 - put the funds as his, it makes life easier

6.1 - speeding tickets are unlikely to be criminal convictions.  If you didn't go to court, it wasn't, and you don't need to mention it.  Was your accident in the US a criminal or civil offence?  I don't know how these things work in the US but I imagine it is the same as over here.

hi victoria,
for my accident, i did not go to court and i just paid the fines. no conviction so to speak, just points on my license and my insurance rates went up. i guess it was civil as no charges were brought against me.

thanks!:)
