Tomato Paste US v UK size

I have a US recipe that calls for one small can of tomato paste.  I know the UK/US can sizes are roughly the same size, but can anyone confirm the ounces on a small can of US tomato paste?

6 oz I believe

yup, I just checked safeway.com and the little ones are 6 oz's

Be careful it's not too concentrated......I bought some here to make enchilada sauce, using a spice mix from home, used the whole can, it was double concentrate!!!! UGH!! I had to use another packet of mix, add more water, and adjust it that way.
