...ofcourse "the one" is from another co

What a wonderful website! (by the way)...long story short is my fiance (who is Scottish) has gotten a posting from his job and is to be in Aberdeen next month...we had plans on getting married in the future but now we're just doing it sooner....my question is does anyone know if we can get married in the states while he's on a visitors visa and if so will that affect my entrance to the UK...or should I still get a vistors visa myself for the UK before moving with him.

First of all, Welcome to UKY!!

My DH and l got married while he was in the states visiting. And it didn't effect my spouse visa at all.
Remember with the visa is that you have to have proof of different things. Such as living accommodation, financial funds.

Good luck to you!

BTW my DH is Scots/Irish born in Glasgow!

My husband and I married in the US while he was there on a visitor's visa and all was fine with me getting my spousal visa
