We have about a two week rotation on things like chili, spag bol, curry, Mexican food.  And yeah -- we do the grilled meat/chicken/fish, starch and veg A LOT!  This past Sunday was the first Sunday we didn't do Sunday roast in a long time.

We eat so much chicken in the house.  Since you can make it with almost anything...so the dishes tend to vary, but chicken is a definite staple.

Salmon with sweet potato mash, turkey burgers, sausage and mash, pasta with pesto and chicken, or stir-fry. Those are definitely our weekday staples. I try desperately to do one or two new recipes each week, but sometimes I just can't find the energy after work. Oh and we do a roast chicken with all of the fixings pretty much every Sunday. I guess we really are creatures of habit!

salmon filet or tuna steak with rice

DF makes curries all the time, which I love

I actually eat out more often than not.  Well, I did until I started saving to get to the UK.  I always knew it was a hole in my budget, but it was easy to do when I was alone.  I like cooking, but I hate cooking for one after a long day's work!

Pasta.  DH loves it, especially my sauce.
And chicken.  We love our chicken.

We only eat organic or free range chicken so don't cook with it as much as we used to since it's pricey.

This week, because it's so warm, we're doing lots of salads and easy stuff: taco salad; chef's salad; kedgeree; pasta with broad beans, ricotta, and mint; omelette; chinese minced pork stirfry

Now that I have my appetite back, I'm back into cooking so am trying lots of new recipes.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I make cheese on toast the most...but as far as truly cooking - probably some form of curry (when you  live with an Indian, you eat a lot of curry!).
