Are these in the refridgerated bits or in the drinks section of the supermarkets? Wouldn't mind trying this Rice Dream stuff.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

In my Sainsbury's,  'Rice Dream' is in the health food/ organic food section. (Not refrigerated).

Try to get the one in the yellow & white carton... that's the vanilla flavoured one.
I havent tried the normal one (in the blue & white carton) yet.

I use Scottish Porridge Oats and put it a bowl with some coo (milk) and blast it with the microwave for 2-3 minutes( stir it as req'd), add a spoon of brown sugar and walla,

And a lot lot cheaper than if you buy oats in the packets. I never use water to cook oats but that's me.

We had bought a huge box of the Quaker Porridge oats at Makro,  so that was pretty cheap.  But I find I need to add stuff to the plain ones, like cinnamon or brown sugar.  But that's just my taste.  I never ate the plain stuff at home either - either used it in cookies or mixed with a packet of the flavored.
