Newish to England/Oxford -- will be spending some time over next year traveling to and working along south coast.
Am essentially a beginning sailor, and want to get up to a better level.
Looking for a good place with some protected harbour/river areas for day sailing-- not too interested in open water sailing.
For example, have seen the marina in Brighton and it appears to be nothing but open water there.
Any ideas for me?
