And congratulations on your job, bruinbrooke! I'm sorry you guys have to go through more distance, there's nothing happy about that at all. :( BIG warm fuzzies that this process goes quickly and happily for you - keep us informed!!!

Wow! I haven't been on here since I started my new job and...BOY is there a lot of wonderfully helpful info all of a sudden!

Thanks Marlsepo for the nice thoughts too!

It is really miserable being apart, but we muddle through one day at a time and are trying to make plans to see each other in late February if we can.

Hope all is going well in the process for all of you and time for me to catch up on all this reading!  ;D

Hey welcome aboard Sara!!  Melissa and I are right next to you.  I'm going to the police station this afternoon to get the forms for Glen's police check.  He's taking care of the police check form from Belgium.   Yeah, I know you can download them online ftp://http://www.met.police.uk/dataprotection/forms.htmbut gotta get out for my walk.

We're filling out our packet three this weekend ;D  ;D  All we really have to do is wait for the police check which I hear takes about 40 days max.

A couple who is about a two weeks ahead of me and Glen sent they did theirs on December 1 (I-130/G325a's) we sent ours out on December 18 and they already have the interview appointment for February 12!!!  So I'm figuring our will be in March some time pending we get our police checks back quickly.   ;D ;D  ;D

I can't wait I am so excited.  I know everyone who is doing this process must be.   We're going to start house-hunting soon in NY I would imagine.  ((Fingers crossed that we'll be home in NY before the birth of our child))

I'm babbling on here.  Good luck Sara and Melissa.  I'm sure we'll keep each other posted of our progess, aggravation that may lie ahead and the joys of our next journey "back from over the pond".  :D
