ILR - is this weird?
« on: July 14, 2006, 12:45:15 PM »
We sent my Set (M) application on 5 July. I tracked the document using the facility on Royal Mail's web site. It was received but it says it was redirected so was received on 7/7! I know we used the correct address so why the redirection?? Also, as of yesterday, they hadn't presented the cheque. Should I follow up with the HO on this?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

They changed the forms around this time, due to a change of address for the payment processing centre, so it may be that you sent it the wrong address without realising.

I would wait a little...they are very busy at the moment, and I don't think there is a need to worry.

Well, good news! DH checked his account again and the cheque was just presented. Phew!

Thanks for the reassurance on time frame, too, Vicky. Let's hope we don't have to wait too long.

4 weeks isn't too bad.  if i didn't have to travel that would be ok......  *grumble*

at least my job is paying the 250 extra for me to file in person.

now just to be sure all my ducks are in a row.
