So sorry, Courtney. It's terribly difficult to lose loved ones and be so far away. Unfortunately, one of the most distressing things about "getting older" is that we begin to experience an increased number of losses...friends and family. Cherish your wonderful memories of Michael and take comfort in them. We will toast him tomorrow night on your behalf.  [smiley=hug.gif]

So sorry to hear your very sad news but am pleased to hear his kidneys were donated. A part of him continues to live on.
My thoughts are with you Courtney.

Thank you all so much for your kind words.

I took a personal day today, and kept to myself. This has thrown me into an introspective mood and I am really glad tomorrow is Friday since I have Monday scheduled off as well. A nice long weekend to pull my thoughts together is just what the doctor ordered.

I do appreciate any prayers you can say for Michael's mum. He was only 53, and his mum must be in her late 70's. I cannot imagine how hard it is to lose a child, esp when your own health is not the greatest.
