Has anyone used these people?

Their rates are very affordable, but I always want feed back.  :)

It's USD 8.50 per cubic foot so you can send approximately 20 large boxes
for $850...(assuming the boxes were 24*18*15)...

A 20-foot ocean container: client to pack/load/unload  $3350

It would be $450 additional if they drop it off on a Friday and pick it up on Monday.

These are ATL to Plymouth.

Maybe it's me but that seems a bit high....unless my math is wrong. As I posted someplace here....I used http://www.omegashipping.com/

The rate I paid was $7.50 per cubic foot and a minimum of 200 cubic feet. They explained to me that all shipping places would have a minimum because for immigration reasons, you have to have your own container. So even if you just wanted to ship a teddybear, you have to pay for the whole container.

Plus they supplied all the packing material, came to my house, packed everything (!) and took it away. They dealt with the immigration paperwork at the port and delivered it to my new home. They were also supposed to unpack it all and take away the refuse but I just had them pile it all in a spare room so I could go through it instead.

Good luck!!

Thing is they never returned my email.  Just flat out ignored me.   :-\\\\

That price is much better in that it includes packing and boxes.

Wow. Sorry to hear that!  :( I wound up just calling them on the phone because I was too confused about estimating the cost of what I was shipping.  The guy I spoke to was super friendly and faxed me over the quotes almost immediately after giving me a general idea over the phone. Maybe you can try them that way if you're not too put off?  :-\\\\

I apologise for bringing SUCH an old thread but I'm now in the market for a shipping company and I have my eye on this one. Has anyone else used them and are they any good?

I'm not quite sure how much I need to send but it's only a few boxes, could be anywhere between 5 - 10.

Do they deliver to your door? Neither Jon or I drive at this time and having to pick up something at a warehouse would be hugely inconvenient.

Any feedback would be really appreciated.

Hey Ashley, I just used them in January of this year.  I packed up 24 boxes and had them shipped from San Francisco to Bristol.  $840 and it took exactly 2 months.  They delivered to my house and stacked them in my dining room.  I thought they provided a good service and only one thing broke in one of my boxes, but thats cause I didnt pack it very good!!  ;)

Well if you don't have too much to send, it might be cheaper to go through the regular Post Office. I know I only had around 6-7 boxes to send and its going to cost me around the same as they gave me a quote for (but that was from Miami - which is 5 hours by car from me) and I didn't think it was worth the hassle. Like Jennredd said I'm sure they'll deliver the stuff but it might be a higher quote than what I was given.
