November flight sale.....

Northwest airlines has a sale on...for November

Just checked flights from London Gatwick to San Francisco and the dates I checked were 2/11-16/11 and the cost was £337.00

checked dates for Thanksgiving time and it was the same.

They have flights on sale for Orlando, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, and Seattle...they all depart from Gatwick and go via somewhere in the USA.

Now this is thru a consolidator we use at work. So I don't know if this is a special agreement with our consolidator of if Northwest has them on sale as well??

But dates of travel are 01 Nov-16 Dec...

Ohh that's really good! I wish I had the oomph to get the girls back home again...I'm still tempted to get my husband to ring you, MeShell,  & book us a naughty weekend in Italy!

Wonder if that has something to do with why my flight to London was so cheap? It was $500 from Memphis to Gatwick (with a short layover in between, of course.)

I've done this flight before with NWA. 

LGW is my preferred airport but ugh, after my last couple of long hauls with connections in the US, I vowed never to do it again... hmm, I need lots of willpower to resist a cheap fare with a connection! perhaps I will just have a small look see...
