i hope you get the banking job as a better job=more money to see the honey!  And real time off, proper vacation time!

At least you have an idea of when you'll get to see him!  That's better then a few months ago after you got home and you didn't know when you'd see him again.  Chin up

We've all played the waiting/countdown game at some point.  And before you know it, it'll be Christmas and that's a few holidays off the list right there!   

Six months is the longest I ever went without seeing my husband and I thought it would take an eternity, but it actually went quite fast.

I hope the time starts going faster for you   Good luck with the new job too (someone else mentioned it).  I hope you get it!

It must almost be Christmas - they've started a Christmas wish list on this board.     So that one is practically ticked off already - and Halloween and Thanksgiving with it.  Then once Christmas is gone, New Year's is pretty much gone too.  See, you're almost there.   

Hang in there reeeeka - it will end eventually.  How's the whole debt situtation?  Is he getting any closer, financially, to a point where he's willing to bring you over?  I hope so.  And I hope you can find a non-retail job soon too.

Sorry you're feeling down Reeeka. I don't have anything witty to add to help you through, but I feel for you. I know how hard it is. I hope time hurries up and goes quickly for you! 



Hey.. here's an idea, I know you had a post awhile back about web cams. Why not make little video clips for each other just silly, fun things to pass the time? My son and I took a day going around and snapping silly photos of us in our daily fun at the parks and just places around town to share. We then made a few silly little videos. Not only did they make us laugh when we played them back, but they were fun to share with my man.  Just a thought. Hang in there.

Things are good between us. He's paying his stuff off and I'm happily paying mine off  trying to build me some good credit here and get into a routine of being an "adult" 

No news on the bankers job. I last heard that it was still at their thing place where they read them and decide. The girl told me to keep applying as they she didn't think they had any spots open except for tellers that can travel. I obviously can't...so I doubt they'll be calling me back. I'm going to keep putting in for it though because there's a new one opening right down the street from my house where the old theater once was ...so hopefully.
