While in Derby in early September we ate breakfast at a place called Soul Deli.
http://www.souldeli.com/It had to be one of the best full English breakfasts. Local produce and well cooked. Veggie breakfast was much enjoyed as well. Service was a bit iffy, but I think they were just having a bad morning! Staff members were very friendly though!
The deli is also nice and they carry a range of speciality items, but of course my heart was happy to see Provolone cheese. It's the piccante from Italy, but lovely nonetheless and really better than the other stuff IMHO.. but I like stronger cheeses. Anyways... great for cheese steaks!
It's well worth a visit.
