Access to St James Club, Green Park on Picadilly Line
« on: September 18, 2006, 02:49:20 PM »
A friend is organizing an event in this area and she asked me if I knew of any transport problems around the area- I have no idea (don't know London that well) but would anyone know if its generally easy to get to, any parking issues or whatever?

If any "locals" have any advice, I'd be very grateful.

Many thanks in advance!

Always keep a look out for problems with the tubes on www.tfl.gov.uk but Green Park is well served by the Piccadilly Line, the Victoria Line and the Jubilee Line, as well as a lot of buses.  It is also very easy to get to from Victoria mainline station.

There are a few car parks in the area, which are usually expensive.  In the evening then street parking is possible but it gets busy, so I would seriously advise (as with most of Central London) that people are advised to take public transport.

Vicky, thanks so much. You are always right on the nose with your advice; I'll pass it on :)
