Motorcycle licence??

A question re: motorcycle licence in the UK. I understand you have to start on a 125cc or smaller bike? I've been riding a ZX 1100cc bike for years. Not sure if a 125cc moped will move with me on it? Can anyone help?? :o

You sound like a candidate for the Direct Access scheme.  I'm not 100% sure of the exact requirements so I'd suggest a quick Google for more info.
