I'm moving to London in January to be with my husband. Obviously everything is in a whirlwind trying to sort things out and get everything finished and taken care of. I THOUGHT I had a beautifully precise to do list.
But now, my (US) boss has said that I am required (by the UK) to have a complete physical before I will be allowed to move. I have not found any reference to that anywhere and my boss is known for talking like she knows all the answers to the universe when she clearly has no clue. But, as is always the case, it was enough to send me into a mini-panic.
Is she right? Is there some point where I might need to prove a recent complete physical? TB tests are no longer required, so a physical wouldn't be either right? I know I'm being paranoid but I just thought I'd whip out the "ask-the-audience" lifeline
