15-Dec me travel to new jersey
26-Dec boyfriend travels to new jersey
new years trip up to boston
5-Jan both fly back to UK

this is the second year that we've done this.  works out well as both of us want to spend xmas with our families... (although this year my two older sisters won't be at xmas so it'll be quiet)

This will be my first Christmas in the UK.

At the moment I am in PA visiting family for Thanksgiving so hopefully that will help with any homesickness I may have later.  :)

I'll be in the UK.  It will be the first Christmas that I'm not spending in the house I grew up in.   :(  And the ILs are going away for the holiday, so it will just be the two of us.

We are staying in the US.  I am hosting a Christmas Eve dinner for us and my mother, brother and father in law.  They are hosting the Boxing Day lunch.  My husband and I are spending our first (married) Christmas Day together, just the two of us.

I took the hints, stepped up to the plate, and now it looks like I'm doing Christmas dinner for my husband's family! My MIL is delighted and won't mind in the least that my cooking falls far short of her standard. We'll just keep pouring the wine. It should be loads of fun!
