you can get wheat free flour and make banana bread... i used wheat free flour for all my thanksgiving baking as there was a guest who can't eat wheat.  shoudl find it next to the flour in the baking aisle.

Last year I made shortbread cookies for all our friends and put them in these really cute little christmas boxes.

Not sure I'll be doing that again. I found it so tedious. I might do some cakes, though. I've got a fab recipe for orange cake with cream cheese frosting. Tasty.

And I'm well impressed with the oil, QG. That's a really creative gift.  Send some my way! ;)

Do you substitute this in equal amounts for regular flour? I have a killer banana bread recipe but I wouldn't know what you do with it with wheat free flour.

Cheers for the help :)

Nice ideas, I saw an Alton brown recipe for truffles thats sounds wonderful on the Food Network, I may try that, although breads sounds like a great idea!  Where do you buy the nice bags to put goodies in?  I was looking in the food storage aisle, think I am looking in the wrong place!
Thanks
Angela

I had some nice ones from Lakeland, but that was a few years ago so I don't know if they still carry them.

eBay! Search for cellophane bags or christmas bags or treat bags.
