Hiya,
Being Indian, we - mainly mum, has lots of high value gold and it's all insured under the home insurance policy. However, rather than keeping our house looking like tutankhamun (sp?) tomb, I think about 90% of it is kept in bank security deposit boxes and the fee for that includes insurance. The home policy only covers what's kept at home and you'll need to specify whats what and how much it's worth etc. I think the good thing is that once specified, if like us it sometimes resides in safety deposit boxes and other times is at home, then you dont have to keep informing the insurance company where it is. In your case, seeing as you'll have it with you till getting hitched day, so long as you mention it on your policy you should be covered.
There may be specialist insurance polices out there - maybe others know of something?! but seeing as home/contents insurance covers jewellery, I'd say this would be your best course of action
Cheers!
