Pizza/mini-bites. What are they? Help.
« on: December 19, 2006, 12:45:58 PM »
I have been assigned to provide pizza/mini-bites at my office Christmas brunch.

I think of these as something that is eaten warm, probably purchased frozen.

However, at my job there is no refrigerator, and no cooking/microwave facilities.

So are pizza/minibites in the UK something that doesn't require cooking, and is bought and served at room temperature - like crisps or something? I'm confused.

If I heated something up at home before I left for work, they wouldn't be warm by the time they were eaten.

 ???

Go to Iceland, buy some two for a fiver(or whatever) frozen mini pizza or quiches(something savory).  Heat them up in the AM, take them in a container along with a plate to work with you.  Serve them cold.  :)

Thanks Mindy.

Can I heat them up the night before and refrigerate them overnight?

Otherwise I will be late for work. (I don't have a microwave at the moment.)

Sure.  They'll be room temperature, which is what everyone will expect.  :)

Thanks guys. It went well, although I still feel odd about serving cooked food at room temperature.
