Anyone know how the British posts in the US are coping with student entry clearance applications? From 1 September visitors can't study, and associate/visiting students and other short-term students will all need entry clearance if they want to work and/or have the choice of staying on for longer. The days of rocking up at the airport are over -- unless you don't mind having a work prohibition, and can show you will be definitely leaving within 6 months.
There are thousands of visiting students from the US in the UK, so I hope the Embassies have taken on extra staff to process the entry clearance applications.
