Well after exploring I have found that the opinion of this "school", AIU is that many are less than impressed with them, I was a little skeptical but they made it sound so good, like we could get Finacial Aid as if we were living in Southern CAli where we are now and if that was true we were set but I am not so sure now. Has any one heard of the website (Across the Pond)? Supposedly they help you to apply to Univeristies in the UK? Haven't really explored it yet just came acrossed it the other day! Maybe this website would be a better option than AIU. We are planning a trip to London in Dec and were planning on stopping by to see the campus at AIU. Guess we will have to see!

have explored UCAS?

http://www.ucas.com/

they are the Univeristy college admission services and they can give you info and advice about colleges across the UK. It seems like that "across the pond" website is just a middleman for that ...do they charge you for that service?

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

What is your husband studying? AIU gives more vocational courses so its not exactly an academic powerhouse. If you want to come to the UK for a year it might be a way to do it as you'll be able to work and your husband will also be able to work for 20 hrs per week. But, I think you should do some serious planning as London is very expensive and you should know how you are going to live.

If you really want to live in the UK why not look at some legitimate UK universities doing 3 or 4 year courses. You'll have to pay fees etc, but as I said you can work.
the UCAS site given in the previous post is good for that.

My husband is going to study International Business and we have also turned in the UCAS application to 6 Universities in the UK that are accredited Universities. So we will just wait and see we don't want to be too hasty we are taking it one step at a time and seeing how things work out.

I live in Atlanta with an AIU branch near me. I know a few ALUMNI. If you have any questions feel free to message me privately and I can tell you more about the school and their programs.  :)
