I've started my cat on the process, I was originally planning to move this summer. She's all set except for the flight, pet centre fees, and a rabies booster in December.
At this point I'm just not sure if I want to take her. I'd find a way to work out the money if I thought she'd be ok with the move, especially since I have another year now. She's very skittish and I worry she wouldn't do very well with the move. I'm going to keep her up to date on her vaccinations, but I think I'll leave the official decision about whether or not to take her until later. I figure this way she's all set if I do decide to take her and won't have to worry about wanting to take her at the last minute and not having her ready.
I'm just going back and forth about what's best for her. I can totally see her reacting like Courtney's Albus, poor kitty.
It's such a hard decision!
