If you can find a cooking stone that will fit in your oven, i highly recommend them.  I have one I've had for eons and it is wonderful.  Works great for frozen pizzas, rolls, cookies, lots of things.  Definitely get the nylon scrapers they recommend for them even if you don't get one of the stones because they are perfect for cleaning any dish that has food stuck on or burnt on without scratching anything.

I don't have the metal rack thing for my stone, haven't ever used it.  Mine has always been fine without it.

I love their stonewear. But my mom's broke in the oven a few years ago. It was a pizza one. :-(

Mix-n-scrapers!!! LOVE THEM!!! I have a classic bar pan that I use for everything, including roasting a chicken. It was the single best item I brought over from the US and it JUST fits in my oven here. I also really like my grill pan and the classic pots and pans. Those are still, sadly, in the US. My sister is a consultant, so I have a lot of Pampered Chef stuff.

Happyutopia, your mom should have spoken to the consultant who sold her the stoneware. Always keep your receipts for anything, as there's a guarantee on most Pampered Chef (possibly lifetime on the stones) and she could have returned it to get a new one.

I seem to think, and may be wrong, there used to be a lifetime warranty on the stones.  I had to have one replaced, but the one i have now must be 15 years old and is still ok.  All i had to do was get in touch with any rep for Pampered Chef and they swapped it out for me.

I love the bowl you got.  That looks perfect!  I hope you like the stone, they're great.

Did you buy the little rack to go with the stone? It's not necessary, but it's dead handy. I love the colored mix n' scrapers! Mine are boring white.

Congrats on your purchases!

I love Pampered Chef stuff and my mom knows it so I can usually count on getting at least one PC product at each birthday and Christmas. :P
