Yep, both ketchup and soda taste differently to me here- never realised it was due to the lack of high fructose corn syrup! 

When I lived in the States I used to drink diet cherry coke all the time. but since moving to the UK I cant drink diet cherry coke here it is way to sweet for me. every now & then I will have a regular cherry coke instead it taste's like the diet cherry coke back home does. I to have noticed that the ketchup does taste different here in the UK.  but like US_MancGirl I normally only use ketchup for my fries as well.

I don't like diet cherry coke here either.

I do LOVE fanta zero though :)
