Maid of Honor Speech

i've just been informed that i will need to give a short speech at my cousin's wedding in 2 weeks... any insight?  short & sweet?  funny?  any speeches that have stuck in your brain? 

There are websites you can search for that will give you speeches that could be used for such occassions...just do a google search, and you can look through some to kind of get an idea--it might spark off a direction for you to go if you have examples in front of you.

I would think just a short & sweet speech about your relationship and how you know the bride would be perfect. But of course sappy is always a given at weddings. 

Just got back from the wedding...I think a combination of all those things is good. The people in my friends wedding party all said things regarding their relationship with the bride...funny, sweet, sentimental. It's nice when you can make people cry and laugh at the same time lol
