Italian delis in East Anglia?
« on: May 06, 2007, 09:33:55 AM »
Help! My husband is an Italian-American who's yearning for some real Italian deli meats (especially soppressatta). We discovered the real thing in the Gare du Nord train station in Paris, but that's a bit far for regular trips.

We live in Colchester and I commute into east London for work. Can anyone recommend an authentic deli in these parts?

A coworker told me to check out Peterborough, as there's a large Italian community there, but he couldn't give me any more specifics.

Thanks for your help!

There is a small one on Mill Road in Cambridge, it is not far from the train station.
