Has anyone ever seen Yellow Summer Squash here?  I'm really jonesin' for some Black-Eyed Pea style squash casserole.

haven't seen it in my area and I miss it. I'm going to try and grow it this summer, lima beens too! I'm not too good with plants so if there are any gardeners around advice would be welcome.

Nobody I've asked about it seems to know what I'm even talking about! I would bring some seeds over and grow it myself if I had a garden!

I've found it twice in Sainsbury's in the 5 years I've been here... I've been thinking about getting some seeds from the states and growing my own!

I bought a couple of plants at Squires labelled as Courgette summer squash and according to the picture on the plastic thingy it looks yellow. The only difference seems to be that it will be round instead of long. Wont know for a bit yet though, its only wee!

First off, I think it's illegal to bring seeds into the country. That said, I'm 90% sure I've seen 'yellow courgette' seeds at any good garden center (courgette, squash and marrow are all related - I'm pretty sure this will get you what you want).

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
