Hey all --

I think I recall some old threads in which the Yanks were complaining about the quality of the crummy streaky bacon that is available in the UK ... and I wholeheartedly agree. It's usually nothing like the wonderful thick slices of streaky bacon we used to get back in the States.

But Mrs Halo (otherwise known as Britwife) and I have found a great butchers in Inverness that sells great big thick wonderful sliced streaky bacon ... best I've had since I left the States!
