Yeah, that would last about 2 seconds with Rufus!  Cute though!!!!

Barney, being a mixed bag of terrier and whatever, tends to tear up his toys as soon as he gets them. However, he has figured out which toys are to be destroyed  [smiley=smash.gif] and which ones are to be less so. If we tell him not to pull, he is generally good about that now. Of course, being ten years old does help. He's not as aggressive towards things as he used to be. He even has a stuffed squirrel (toy) that I got him last year in the States that is more-or-less intact (except for a somewhat bald tail).

Just product tested the Katies' bumpers Sqwuggies (made from fire hoses).  Rufus dismantled it in very short order.

Note to self...  do not give Rufus ANY squeaky toys EVER!!!

The hucks and hurley (zogo-flex) are  hard and aren't as fun to chew as the orbee tuff balls.  They're durable but solid so there isn't much give and therefore not as fun to play with.

I have a black Lab - super duper power chewer... my doggie is a power chewer for sure.

I'll have to look for kongs.  The only thing thus far that she can't get through immediately/quickly are the beige Nylabones.  She can get through the yellow ones in a day or so.

Try the Galilieo nylabones.  My friend's lab has been chewing on her's for nearly two years.  And it still isn't anywhere close to the tossing away point.  They are pricey ($20 or £10 or so), but, they last and last and last.

I have a black Lab too! ;D

Kongs were the Saving Grace when he was a pup.  Nylabones too! Definitely NOT the yellow/orange/green ones.  The beige ones that are really hard are the best.
