Our dilemma

Thanks everyone. I'm getting excited about actually having a modern kitchen! This is the range we are getting. Beats the hell out of my tiny camping type stove I've been using for 6 years

Wow, sorry I just kept missing this thread!  The housing gods appear to be with you, especially from the look of that range.  Also, good on you for going with the couple!  Major congrats!

Yep we're staying in Coventry. We're currently in Stoke but moving to Potters Green which is where my husband grew up. Ironically we bought a house directly across the street of the house my husband originally wanted to buy 7 years ago. Weird how things work out.
I'll have a nice house warming party as soon as I get some volunteers to cook. (MeShell)
