International Graduate Working Scheme? Quick Question
« on: July 07, 2007, 03:19:11 AM »
OK,  Quick question just for an understanding of word usage.

This quote is from www.workingintheuk.gov.uk and it concerns the Grad Working Scheme.
To qualify for the Scheme one must, "have successfully completed a relevant course at a recognised or listed UK institution of Higher or Further Education on or after 1 May 2007. A relevant course is:

• a Bachelor’s degree course; OR
• a Master's or PhD course; OR  ... etc..."

By "successfully completed a relevant course" the BIA's website means earned a degree, right?

or do they simply mean completing one class?

In the UK, course=degree program.

So yes, a completed "course" means that you fully earned that degree.  :)

yep, you need to have completed the entire program succssfully.

I'm aplying for IGS when I'm done with my master's, and I can't apply until January when I get my final results for the degree.
