dog boarding recommendations?
« on: May 03, 2007, 04:08:03 PM »
Hi all,

We plan to arrive in London on August 1st and shortly thereafter (within a week) need to be in Sweden so we'll need to board our 2 dogs for a few days to a week. Has anyone used any boarding kennels in the London area that they can recommend either to use or stay away from?

I appreciate any comments. Thanks!

bump? I finally got my work to buy my tickets to London today and I called the kennel i had been emailing and now they tell me they have a waiting list for the time I need.

I am flying in arriving Aug 6th and may be staying in short term accoms for a few days and then I'm leaving for sweden on the 9th and not coming back until Lon for good until the 15th. So, I NEED to find a boarding facility for my 2 dogs for Aug 6-15 (at the very least aug 9-15).

Help!

All I can suggest is that you go to the gov't website that lists all the quarantine kennels and go with one of those, since they have the most inspections.

My dog is in quarantine near Bristol and Overhill Kennels are great, and I'll be using them any time I go away and need to board Poppy.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.
