I miss having a corner shop.  Tesco is now my corner shop.  So depressing.  The one I had in London was fab.

I love going to my local greengrocer and butchers, and we have our milk delivered, so I can get by for a stretch without going into a supermarket. But there always comes a point when my teenagers will say, "When are you going to buy some food?" Meaning the crap they like to eat. That's when I go crawling back to the big stores.

we don't really have corner stores/local shops... we did have a william penn farm market up the street but it was litterally sooooooo small you couldn't even move down the aslie and was actually expensive. So i never went there, unless i was on lunch from highschool just to get a canolli or however it is spelled.. now there is a pizza place there and they had moved down the street and now they r closed. so yea, we don't even have any small local shops anymore. I buy most my stuff at Redner's markets, giant, or walmart super center... none have a good ammount of stuff i want either. sucks
