Air Canada sale US -> UK
« on: July 15, 2007, 03:25:18 AM »
Just booked our flights over for the end of August. So now I can tell the rest of you about this great sale.  ;D

Every other site I've been looking at, which includes the airlines directly, Orbitz, Kayak and a few others, couldn't get us to the UK for less than about $2800 from Baltimore to Manchester. Most of them wanted that just for my wife and kids to fly one way. I didn't even bother looking at what my return ticket would add to it.

On AC, I got the 3 one ways for just over $1K, and my return for $950. So less than $2k all in.  :o

www.aircanada.com <- check it!

Excellent! :)

Yes, nothing like spending some real money (OK, Amex's money  ;D) to make a deadline seem all that more real.  :o

Brilliant!  Hoping to summon my bro over this Autumn, and flights for £450 inc tax will certainly help!  Thanks!

I booked a flight with Air Canada too for the end of August a few weeks ago, I had been looking and looking but flights from Philly to Manc were $800 at the cheapest (per person, round-trip), many were $1000 and up  :o  I was giving up hope of finding anything and then ended up finding the Air Canada one for $666, a much more reasonable price. This is my first time ever on a non-direct flight, but oh well, better to have a layover than to pay more than I can afford to or to not go at all.

Have a great trip!! :)
