Root Beer

Just recently I found Australian root beer in Waitrose in small brown bottles.  I thought it tasted better than the stuff at Sainsbury.

It's called Bundaberg. I buy it at Waitrose too.

Yeah, I tried that too and it wasn't bad.  There's no substitute for Barq's over here, unfortunately,  I find the Carter's bland and insipid.

A trip to (dreary)Kingston it is then! This Bundaberg sounds good. Is it in glass bottles? Sure hope so.

I also wish I could find Miller High Life. Shame.

Can you still buy the big demijohn of root beer and a tub of ice cream at A&W root beer stands? That was a big treat when we wuz kids.

Carter's is not root beer! It vile.

Asda used to carry it, DD drinks it because it is better than none. You can tell she wasn't raised on Barq's.
Tescos (or one of the big 'uns) used to carry A&W.  Sadly I haven't seen it for a while.

Dh & I went to Indiana last September we went to A&W root beer stand man was it heavenly to me.      we saw a family get the tub of ice cream & a gallon of root beer I had to explain that one to Dh he wasnt crazy about the idea himself.    

This Bundaberg sounds good. Is it in glass bottles? Sure hope so.
