Amiloo, I think were separated at birth. When I lived at home, I never ate meat, desserts, fried food, etc and ate loads of veg and salads. When I came here, I thought, oh my word, how can these people eat so many rich foods? I fought for a very long time, trying to stay away from such things and convince myself that I didnt like them but little by little I am starting to give into temptation and indulge from time to time. I was a little iffy about Xmas pud to start off with but it is very rich and calorie-laden so, thank goodness this comes out only once a year. I still stick mainly to veg and salads but I am eating a lot more fish than I used to (mainly because the quality back home was not so good) and I mainly stick with the veg for roast dinners. I also never ate bread over here but I am starting to incorporate that and curries and fry ups down them and all I can say is 'more peas, please' or 'more salad please' I love egg white omelettes and beans and toast for my fry up, not keen on bacon and sausage.
