Set the date!

My parents are visiting London for this week, and with them came the gift of some wedding money.  With that, we were finally able to book our wedding venue and SET A DATE (something I've been dying to do for ages).

We've chosen an outdoor ceremony in Gretna Green.  The date is June 7, 2008.  What a relief to finally be able to tell people!!  I liked that day because a) it's a Saturday & b) the 'American' date is 06/07/08 :).

Hooray! :)  How exciting!

I know what you mean about the date thing.  Before we got married, DH and my  "anniversary" of when we started dating was 12/3/4.  ;D
