There's an Australian drink that mixes Fosters and Coke.  Can't remember the name, but it's not my favorite - just tastes like watery Coke to me.

I asked...the name is called 'Barfly', because it looks like the stuff in a bar tray after a long night!

All this talk of mixing things with sodas reminds me of the good old "Suicide" soda. Anyone ever do this as kids? I never did it (the thought grossed me out) but I had lots of friends as kids who would get their soda cups at restaurants and put a little of every kind of soda in their cup. It was usually a weird mish-mash of orange, coke, diet, root beer, dr pepper, and usually hawaiian punch or something similar.

We called those "Graveyards."  But we also call it pop, not soda, so....probably a regional difference.  :P

My mom mentioned brown cows to me once...but I am pretty sure what she mentioned was just ice cream in Coke.  Some restaurant in our hometown used to serve them when she was a kid.

I've not tried the Coke with orange yet, but my SIL was sitting next to someone on a train the other day who was drinking one.  She said she had to move because the smell was so strong and it was making her feel ill!

Oh, absolutely.  We used to keep a regular stockpile of store brand sodas from Kroger in a rainbow of flavours and I used to make up little recipes.  I realise now how wasteful it was to have so many bottles open at once, but...  You don't think about that when you're ten.  ;D

Yeah you're probably right. I've not heard of them called a "graveyard" before!

What's sad is that I have a final exam in chemistry tonight, and one of the questions that will be on it relates to the solubility of carbonation (CO2? I need to study!) in soda. Having all those open bottles reminded me of it.  [smiley=smart.gif]

DH found Coke with Orange in Sainsburys.  He really likes it.  It didn't do anything for me.

We also recently saw Tesco own brand Diet Cola with a twist of ALMOND!!!
We bought a bottle.  It tastes kind of weird, but almost good.

I'm more of an ice tea/water/flavoured water drinker.

We found the Coke with Orange in Sainsbury's, too. It wasn't bad. Tasted like a regular orange soda to me, though.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.

I tried the orange Coke in Germany last week, and i loved it!
I'm really surprised, as im not a fan of orange flavoured things, but i thought it was good.   I also tried that Coca Cola Blak, but thought that was vile.

Haven't had a soda for yonks, saw this and dunno what came over me, but I just bought one.

Thought it was like a product they already own - Fanta.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I think Arlo might refer to this as a movement.  ;D

I'm just waiting for the next time it comes around on the guitar.... ;D

Okay, back on topic - my mom loves root beer and milk. :-X  Personally I'm not the biggest fan of the canned stuff that's around.  Most of it tastes too similar, and yet not like much of anything.  However, I am CRAZY about real, honest-to-goodness cherry Cokes.  Yum.
