« on: August 15, 2007, 09:04:55 AM »
my freezer is OVERFLOWING.  i am committed to using up what's in there b/f buying new (a tesco order came last night which just compounded the problem).

what do i do with pork mince?  thai meatball type things?  mix with beef mince to make meatloaf?  suggestions welcome!

I usually use it for wontons or meatballs.

I've used it for meatballs if I'm flavouring them with Chinese or Moroccan spices. I also combine it with beef mince for my lasagne sauce. You could probably use it in place of lamb mince for koftas too.

I can't help you but I'm glad I'm not the only one with the overflowing freezer problem  ;D

thanks for the suggestions... is pork mince fattier than 80% lean beef mince?

(june- you better start using it all up!)
