I haven't been to Moshi Moshi, although there's one nearby (we currently live in Hove--Hove and Brighton share the same city council). I love sushi, but my husband is really put off by the idea, so we haven't gone (he'd be unwilling to eat anything there). It's a shame, because we're moving to Norwich, and I doubt there's a branch there. My husband orders supermarket (and cooked) sushi for me online, but it's not the same thing.

They have entrees as well as conveyor sushi, the steak I was referring to is theRib eye beef teriyaki With sweet potato chips & green beans and is really really good :D Excellent in fact , and cooked to order so he could have it well done if he wanted, no raw fish whatsoever :)
Moshi Moshi really is something you should definately try before leaving.
(I'm in Brighton currently, down by the Level, but i'm moving back to Hove on Monday)

Or they do take out, you could grab yourself something freshly made to take home, and he could cook himself something :)

MaryKate,

We should get together before my husband and I move. It would be cool to actually see another American. But it would have to be within the next two weeks (or sooner), because my husband's going back to college (or uni, as they call it here), and has a mature student orientation on the 20th, and his classes start on the 24th. We're in a panic about moving right now.

Speaking of non-sushi sushi, I once saw two pieces of rare steak draped over two chunks of rice on a dish at Yo Sushi on Poland St in London. so instead of fish, you had the steak. It was ever so nice  ;D
I agree, once you have the real thing its hard to go back to supermarket sushi. M&S I can tolerate but Tesco sushi is horrid.
Good things come to those who wait...a really long time.
