Help! Paperwork headache!

I just came back from the vet where we were filling out paperwork for the dogs travel.  The APHIS form is completed in black ink.  Is this a problem?  She signed it in black ink as well.  I still have to take it to the USDA vet in Sutton to sign and endorse after our next appointment.  She said I could fill out the owner/consigner part at the top of this form.  Is this ok?

Also, she filled out portions of the 998 form and told me that I could complete the portions with my name and address.  Is this ok?  I wouldn't think it is but I am not sure.  We may have to repeat all this on another day but, I certainly hope not.  I want it absolutely correct as I don't want them held up in a strange kennel for even a day.

Dar, call DEFRA.  About every little niggling worry you have.  Fax them anything you want them to check.  They won't mind, honest.  They didn't mind my calls and faxes, and I'm sure they don't like putting animals into quarantine.

As far as I am aware, everything should be signed in blue ink. 

Why wouldn't you be able to complete your name and address?  I think you are worrying over nothing, but call Defra if you are unsure.  I think that's the only way you'll feel better.

Spoke to DEFRA.  They said the colour of the ink should not be an issue at all.  But, the vet must complete the entire form.  So, I need to have my vet redo the paperwork!  Bollocks!
