good luck- tell me how it goes...

the only concern i have is that reading the FAQ- it says that there won't be a stamp in your passport- just a "ticket" given to some people.  proving in/out country is important for ILR/Naturalization.  will this be a problem?

They should stamp the passport... that's annoying.  I'll have to save the ticket then.

The office should be open though when I arrive at Heathrow next time, as I tend to take flights that depart from New York City in the evening and arrivein London in the morning.
The chances are there's a reason we've been left here, but I'm not disappointed.  - Idlewild

Hmmm...interesting.  Never realised that.  Not really an issue now, but will have to start getting the receipts once I switch to spouse visa.

i think as long as you need track of ins/outs yourself- i reckon you'd be fine.

karin- as a WP holder, i think you have to keep track of ins/outs for ILR/Naturalization.

Thanks Meggles.
Have decided to switch to spouse Visa after wedding and start on ILR then.  Don't think I want to stick with my current job (sponsoring my work permit) for that long, in order to get ILR.

i hear you on the WP thing- that's why I switched to HSMP.  whichever way gets you to ILR quickest....

when they scan your irises- is it a bright light?
