Travel booking in advance with payment plans?
« on: October 24, 2007, 06:18:14 PM »
I am trying to book a surprise holiday for my partner next year.  I was wondering if there was a travel company that you can book a holiday in like 4-6 months in advance and make payments for it. And of course I would like a decent price.

Looking to go to Paris, France or New York, New York last choice would be egypt or italy.

Virgin Holidays lets you do this, but the holdiday needs to be paid in full within 8 weeks or so of the holiday, which wouldn't give you much time to pay it off.

99% of all the major tour operators will let you do that..travel agents that book with them will let you do that.

You have to pay the stated deposit...which unlike the USA is non-refundable!!! and like pkessler said the balance is usually 8-12 weeks before departure.

With most travel agents they want the money in their bank before it is due to the tour operator takes it from them.....
