A ferry runs between Seattle and Victoria: http://www.clippervacations.com/destinations/seattle.html

Otherwise, between Vancouver and Seattle, buses are operated by Greyhound and Amtrak. Train between Seattle and Vancouver is operated by Amtrak, I think: http://www.amtrakcascades.com/index.aspx.

I've always done the bus without any issues.

Thanks for the website. Cool, I will probably take a ferry and coach combination just to mix it up.

I am really looking forward to it.

But first... it's my baby niece's 1st birthday at Disneyland.  [smiley=mickey.gif] I will be exploring the whole west coast.  ;)

Sure, but aren't links useful?  ;)

Yes! I just read your post too quickly, and thought you were saying there WAS a ferry to Vancouver.  Then had to edit.  (The website seems to suggest that it's possible, until you start inputting Seattle-Vancouver.)

Hope Olive does get to Victoria, it's my favorite place.  Wah!

Gotcha. Some websites are d-u-m-b.

The Vancouver - Victoria - Seattle - Vancouver loop happens to be a favourite of mine. Hmmm, Blue Fox French toast. I can't wait until the new year. Victoria, here I come! And Vancouver. And Seattle.

I am back from my NW adventure.

My trip ended up being two short city breaks. I met friends in Seattle for 2 days and then took the train to Vancouver. I explored Granville Island and the shopping area. I did a lot of socializing and even met someone who knew someone from my HS... indeed a small world.

Weather was fine. I smiled as I crossed the border and saw frost and eventually snow on the Canadian side but not the US.

I will definitely have to go back!

Glad you had a good time!

I am off to Vancouver / Seattle / the Island shortly.

I am out to buy thermals this weekend. Yup, I'm going (to my other) home! Yay!
