Can I freeze double cream?

i have frozen ricotta & mozz successfully.  never double cream though.  i have several pots left over from thanksgiving and i know I won't be creative enough to use up.
If you harbour bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've never tried it, but the BBC says:

Cream can be frozen if it is going to be used for sauces but not if is going to be poured or whipped. It is important to remember, however, that freezing cream can make it grainy and it won't be 100 per cent the same as before.

I've figured that might be the case. I've frozen other dairy products and that can be the case too.

great!  i'll use some to make rice pudding and then freeze the rest to make more rice pudding!
