That is exactly why my mom never made pies.  Except it was her MIL who was the pie maker.

Made my first pie in ages today - a french silk pie with dark chocolate for tomorrow's feast! Mmmmm....

Im making one myself today too - for the kids. Cant convince them to try the pumpkin. That's okay though, more for me!

I made a yummy pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.  I made the dough from scratch as well and it was SO good.  No pics though.
