We're music junkies. Part of what really got us together was shared taste in mildly obscure music.

Right now I'm eagerly awaiting the new Atmosphere album, and listening to their recent free download.

In the same genre, I'm waiting for Akira the Don's new mix/album. I'm really, really excited about Marvin Thomas' album coming out, too.

Today I downloaded a bunch of 60s, 70s and 80s collections. (We both woke up and half watched an infomercial for a Time-Life rock ballad collection, and both got up this morning with an intention of getting some of that music.)

I've got my jazz and opera stuff, too. Adam hates that, though. He was a bit excited when I got 70 or so 12" records off Freecycle, even if most of them were classical.

We've got our indie favourites, too. The newest Kings of Leon is a stunningly good album.

I could go on and on, but I won't unless asked.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.

Mika is great! We saw him in Dubai at at music festival in October. What a great show. Other than that, Coldplay, which we had the string quartet rendition of Coldplay play during our wedding ceremony. But for the most part, classic rock. Ultimate fave is Pink Floyd and then Rush.
I made it!!

As as musician, I like my own  :P

Kidding...kidding! I have to maintain that Five for fighting are one of the greatest and yet uncelebrated bands EVER. The pianist/singer is remarkable.

Traditional Irish music is what makes me very happy.  It's how my husband and I met as well.  I was studying Irish fiddle in Co. Clare 2 summers ago and he came over to visit his dad and to learn more of how to back up the tunes with guitar.
Met husband-to-be in Ireland July 2006
Married October 2007
